What is the difference between CACI Systems - CACI S.P.E.D® vs Traditional microcurrent

The science of making people look younger is constantly changing. With a myriad of anti-ageing solutions proliferating the market, the search for better alternatives is developing all the time. Until recently, those wishing to remove facial lines had to rely on creams or more drastic solutions such as plastic surgery.

Recent developments in CACI treatments offer a solution to removing wrinkles that are cost-effective and non-invasive. They produce better results and require less regular applications than creams. They are also much cheaper solutions than plastic surgery.

CACI technology is evolving all the time. There are now several models on the market. One of the most recent, CACI S.P.E.D® technology improves on some of the older methods, with improved results. What's more, this latest microcurrent technology is available at the Wimbledon Clinic Aesthetics.

Here is a comparison of different CACI models and an analysis of why the CACI S.P.E.D® technology is the best on the market. Following this, there is a discussion on the applications of this revolutionary new technology.

How do CACI treatments work?

All CACI models use micro currents to penetrate the skin. We normally perform the treatment using two metallic probes, rollers, or pads to deliver the current over the designated area. This micro current technology manipulates the muscles below the skin.

The number of uses of this kind of technology is almost endless. Patients can now lift and tone their skin. They can strengthen muscles. Blemishes and spots are no longer a problem and hydration treatments can eliminate dry and damaged skin. More information on CACI technology is available on the CACI Synergy Therapy in Wimbledon page.

Different CACI models

Although all CACI treatments are similar, each model on the market has its own characteristics and features. CACI models are continually improving, offering better technology and more treatments. Here is a comparison of a few different models.

Classic

This model was the first in a long line of CACI treatments. This system uses specific waveforms, electrical impulses, and ultra-low frequencies in combination to achieve facial lifting and treat wrinkles. The Classic can also hydrate the skin and treat lines. This model is suitable for both males and females. In total, the Classic offers 50 different treatments.

Ultra

The Ultra was an ultrasonic handset. The technology in this model is a combination of micro current toning, ultrasonics, and LED skin rejuvenation. Vibrating at around 27,000 times per second, the model allows users to exfoliate and clean their skin. It achieves this by promoting impurities hidden under the skin. The design also allows for the removal of dead skin cells as well as the treatment of skin blemishes. This model gives users 80 different treatments.

Ultimate

Several techniques for this model, including LED skin rejuvenation and micro current facial toning, are placed into a handset. What distinguishes it from the Ultra, however, is that it uses crystal-free orbital microdermabrasion. This technology allows the handpiece to rotate in an elliptical orbit, resulting in exfoliation and massaging of the skin simultaneously. It is also able to polish the skin. The system is suitable for both men and women. The Ultimate offers its customers 86 distinct treatments.

Sculpt

This system only features 20 distinct treatments and is primarily used for body toning, removing cellulite, and slimming. The technology in this model is Muscle Impulse Simulation (MIS) and Bio-Feedback Auto Adjustment (BFAA). The MIS is used to produce the electrical impulses, while the BFAA monitors that pulse. From this technology, treatments such as contouring and lymphatic drainage are also possible.

Synergy

The CACI Synergy system models itself as the most versatile skin treatment on the market. This particular model uses S.P.E.D® dual action technology, the only model in this list to do so. Despite many of the models using forms of LED technology, this is the first system to use LED light therapy in particular. Users utilise LED light therapy technology in conjunction with the micro current in order to regenerate skin tissue and produce collagen.

The combination of these two forms of technology produces faster results, which last longer. Other treatments available using this technology include exfoliation, sun-damaged skin repair, and the reduction of wrinkles. This system also provides for 100 different treatments. Why CACI S.P.E.D® Technology offers the best skin treatment

As mentioned above, CACI Synergy's use of LED light therapy combined with micro currents makes it unique among other CACI treatments. A clinical study demonstrated that this new technology provides better and more enduring results when compared to the other CACI models. The clinical study used 25 females aged between 35-60. From these trials, the following results showed that using S.P.E.D® technology:

Reduced wrinkles by up to 75%

Improved skin elasticity by up to 88%

Improved skin texture by up to 46%

Reduced red spots by up to 53%

All of these findings occurred after just ten treatments. The study also gave the participants a questionnaire to fill out after the clinical trial. A staggering 92% of participants felt that their skin was smoother, while 88% saw a visible improvement. With line reduction, 80% noticed a positive change, whereas 84% felt their skin was firmer. In the final two categories, 84% noticed brighter skin and 72% noticed an improvement in skin tone.

This suggests that this new technology is revolutionising skin repair, unlike anything previously introduced.

Which attachments does Synergy use?

Synergy uses a range of specialised technologies depending on which particular treatment you need. Here are a few of the specialised attachments using S.P.E.D® technology.

Hydratone rollers

These differ completely from the probes in both look and function. In this treatment, we fit the patient with a clear mask covering their face. The rollers then massage the face, leading to increased hydration and tightening of muscles. The rollers can deliver red or blue light during massaging. Red light promotes collagen production and has anti-ageing benefits. The blue light calms irritated skin. The main treatments associated with the rollers are Synergy Advanced Non-Surgical Facial Toning and Hydratone. The first reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Hydratone hydrates the skin by massaging a gel-filled mask over the patient's face.

Microcurrent probes

Specialists use these probes for tissue regeneration and reducing sag in muscles. The probes significantly increase collagen production, skin elasticity, and the absorption of nutrition. Its greatest asset is its ability to increase cell energy by up to 500%. To deliver the micro current they fill the probes with a serum to increase electrical conductivity. Although the probes deliver improved skin tone and tightening immediately, the recommended number of treatments for a noticeable change to be seen is 12.

Micro current quad probes

These probes work in the same way as those described above but suit a large surface area better. Quad probes can also strengthen jaw muscles. Treatments specifically suited for quad probe applications are Jowl lifts and Gentleman's facials. Jowl lifts improve skin elasticity while removing wrinkles. The Gentleman's facial removes shaving bumps and ingrowing hair. They also hydrated the skin during this treatment. They inject a serum into the probes to aid with electrical conductivity.

Synergy also utilises LED light therapy and combinations of other techniques in a number of other attachments. These include:

Orbital Abrader: this combines crystal-free dermabrasion with LED light therapy. This involves a tip revolving on an elliptical axis which exfoliates and removes impurities when applied to the skin.

Wrinkle Comb: combining collagen simulating waves with the LED, the comb increases collagen. The device delivers red and blue light to heal tissue and calm irritated skin, respectively. It is particularly useful for acne sufferers.

Ultrasonic Actuator: piezoelectric dermal vibrations and ultrasound combine to deliver rapid vibrations to the skin. This exfoliates the skin and removes dead cells. The vibration rate is adjustable to facilitate better absorption of skin care products.

Eye Revive Rollers: These use a micro current to treat the area around the eyes. A gel-filled mask is optional with this device. The treatment will tighten muscles, reduce dark circles and diminish lines and wrinkles.
