Verruca Removal Wimbledon

Verruca Removal using the painless Cryopen is offered at Wimbledon Clinic Aesthetics.

Cryopen prices range for £50 - £79 at the clinic.

The Cryopen tool is a cryotherapy device that is one of the most distinct cryotherapy devices on the market. The precise targeting means only your verruca is treated and not the unaffected skin that surrounds the verruca. The Cryopen's specificity creates less discomfort during verruca removal treatment and keeps the focus on your verruca for a better result.

Verruca Treatment Wimbledon with Cryopen

An even, mild white frost should appear across the lesion during the procedure, indicating the treatment is taking effect.
Initially, the lesion is subjected to a freezing phase, after which it is essential to let the tissue thaw for approximately 30 seconds before proceeding to a second freeze.

Following this thawing period, the tissue typically adopts a reddish hue and resembles an inflamed area. Verrucas generally detach from the skin about 14 days after the treatment.

An additional session may be necessary following the primary treatment for persistent types, such as aggressive Plantar or mosaic warts. This is simply because the wart is more profound, or environmental foot issues may still allow the virus to thrive.

A Typical Course Of Cryopen Treatment

This course may vary depending on wart size, location of verruca wart and length of time it has been growing; in turn, children may be treated differently. A course of two cryopen treatments is standard, spaced one-two week apart, is recommended.
After sessions, a two-week healing period is advised to allow the area to recover and ideally resolve. Should the lesion be deep enough to persist, a further three sessions might be required to achieve noticeable results.

Pre-Treatment Guidance:
Treating viral lesions presents a unique challenge, as the focus is eradicating both the visible lesion and the underlying virus. To enhance the effectiveness of the forthcoming treatment, your practitioner may suggest a pre-treatment regimen for the wart or verruca before your appointment, preparing it for optimal response to therapy.
